Live entertainment & outdoor events

One platform to run, ticket, and settle live events

Monetane unifies event operations, ticketing, and sales tracking in a single cloud application — with offline-first admission designed for venues, fields, and everywhere connectivity is unreliable.

Built for festivals, amphitheatres, touring productions, and outdoor attractions.

The challenge

Fragmented systems become risk on event day

Most event teams assemble a stack that was never designed to work together: a general-purpose ticketing product, spreadsheets for operations, and separate reporting from every vendor on site. The seams hold until the day they matter most.

Disconnected records

Capacity lives in one system, staffing in another, and vendor sales in a third. Reconciling them is manual, and the totals rarely agree on the first pass.

Unreliable connectivity

Outdoor sites have limited coverage, and thousands of attendees saturate what exists. Cloud-only scanners stop validating exactly when queues are longest.

Delayed settlement

Gate counts, bar reports, and merchandise receipts arrive in different formats days after load-out, pushing final settlement weeks past the event.

The platform

Three functions. One system of record.

Operations, ticketing, and revenue are the same event viewed from three angles. Monetane keeps them in one database, so a change in any one is immediately reflected in the others.

Operations

Coordinate the site, the schedule, and the people running it from a single plan.

  • Run-of-show timelines with dependencies and holds
  • Crew scheduling, clock-in, and shift handover
  • Vendor, supplier, and contractor coordination
  • Incident logging with a timestamped audit trail
  • Asset and inventory tracking across the site

Ticketing

Manage inventory, sales channels, and admission without leaving the platform.

  • Tiered releases, presales, and access codes
  • Timed entry and dynamic capacity control
  • Promoter and artist allocations with holds
  • Box office, will-call, and day-of walk-up sales
  • Refunds, exchanges, and name changes in place

Sales tracking

Record every transaction across gates, bars, and merchandise on one ledger.

  • Real-time gross and net by gate, vendor, and hour
  • Food, beverage, and merchandise attach rates
  • Fee, tax, and settlement handling built in
  • Promoter and artist splits calculated continuously
  • Exports formatted for your accounting system

Reliability

Admission continues when connectivity does not

Outdoor events take place where mobile coverage is weakest, and then reduce it further by concentrating thousands of devices in one place. Monetane treats that as the expected condition rather than an exception.

The manifest is held on the device

Each scanner carries the full ticket manifest and validates admission locally, so a lost connection does not become a stopped queue.

Duplicates are detected across devices

Scanners reconcile with each other over any available path. The moment two devices connect, duplicate attempts surface — with or without a network.

Capacity degrades before admission does

As bandwidth narrows, Monetane sheds reporting and analytics traffic first. The function that cannot stop is the one that stops last.

Reconciliation preserves order

Offline transactions carry device identifiers and timestamps, so when the queue drains, the ledger reflects what happened in the sequence it happened.

How it works

From planning to settlement

A single record follows the event from the first capacity decision through to the final split, so nothing has to be re-entered along the way.

  1. 01

    Configure the event

Define the site map, gates, ticket tiers, capacity rules, crew roles, and vendors. Clone a previous event and adjust only what has changed.

  2. 02

    Open sales

Publish tiers, presales, and allocations. Every sale — online, box office, or partner — is recorded on the same ledger the moment it clears.

  3. 03

    Operate event day

Crews work from the mobile app, gates scan online or offline, and operations adjust staffing and holds as conditions change.

  4. 04

    Settle and review

Close out against figures that already reconcile. Splits, fees, and taxes are calculated, and next year begins from real event data.
