Pricing
We charge for the software, not your sales
No percentage, no per-ticket fee. You connect your own Stripe account and the money goes straight to you — you pay us for using the system. Every event is a different size and shape, so we price them one at a time. Tell us about yours and we will send you a price in writing.

Questions
Answers before you get on a call
How much does it cost?
It depends on the size and shape of your event, so we quote each one rather than publishing a price list that would be wrong for most people. Tell us what you are running and roughly how many people you expect, and we will send you a price in writing — no call required first.
Do you take a cut of our sales?
No. The money runs through your own Stripe account and lands with you directly — we are never in the middle of it. We charge for using the software. Stripe's own processing fees apply as they normally would.
So what are we actually paying for?
Use of the software, not a share of what you sell. There is no per-ticket fee and no percentage. We agree what you pay in writing before you start, and it does not change partway through an event.
Do we need our own Stripe account?
Yes, and that is rather the point. You connect your Stripe account to Monetane, payments go straight into it, and you are never waiting on us to pay you out.
What do we need to take payments on site?
An iPad and Stripe card readers. The app pairs with the readers, so you can take payments at the bar, the box office, a merch stand, or anywhere else on the site.
Can we switch over mid-season?
Yes, people do it all the time. We bring across your existing tickets, prices, and customer list, and can run both systems side by side for your first event if you would rather not go all in straight away.
What happens to our data if we leave?
It is yours. Ask us and we will export your events, orders, customers, and history in normal file formats — before, during, or after a contract.
